Writing for oneself - without deadlines or metrics - can be a cathartic experience and I think I need more of those especially now.
Favorite Fruit
Clementine was my first senior rescue, my first NYACC pull, and the driving force behind much of what I do rescue-wise now. Without Clementine, there would be no Eddie.
NW1’s and ORTs
First a little exciting nose work news - Sioux passed her Odor Recognition Tests the beginning of June and Roo Frank was accepted into his NACSW NW1 trial in July!
How to Take Good Pictures of Your Dog
Getting one dog to sit still for a picture is tough. Getting five to sit for a picture in the spots you want to them is damn near impossible. Like every dog mom on the planet, I like taking tons of pictures of my pack. Here's how I get the Dog Soup dogs to pose... Continue Reading →
Best Dog Treat Recipes – Oh Fudge.

Bam became our new cousin/nephew and Charlie officially became our new uncle/brother-in-law. I am so very thankful for my family and for my dogs!

Power Posting on the Wrong Diagonal: Learning with a Smile
In the wide world of horse showing, there are plenty of ways to disqualify yourself. The same is true in the world of competition obedience.
Lost and Found
Last week was a hell of a week. On Sunday we had to say goodbye to my beloved Joe. It was sudden, expected, and made my heart hurt. His passing was, however, peaceful and he was surrounded by the people who love him most. The whole house grieved. Bella and Roo took his passing the... Continue Reading →
